World Organization of Webmasters -

The World Organization of Webmasters (WOW) is a not for profit professional association. The purpose of the World Organization of Webmasters is to support and enhance the role of individuals and organizations who create, manage or market web sites. We support our members by providing web-professional certification as well as educational, technical, placement, member advantage, and discounted services. We enhance our membership by providing a community where discussion and information exchange can operate freely in the context of mutual trust and benefit.


 

International Webmasters Association -

IWA, a non-profit professional association, is the industry's recognized leader in providing educational and certification standards for Web professionals. IWA's initiatives now support more than 100 official chapters representing over 22,000 individual members in 106 countries. IWA's accomplishments include the industry's first guidelines for ethical and professional standards, Web certification and education programs, specialized employment resources, and technical assistance to individuals and businesses.


 

HTML Writers Guild -

The HTML Writers Guild is the world's largest international organization of Web authors with over 118,000 members in more than 150 nations worldwide. Their unique community provides resources, support, representation, and education for web authors at all skill levels.


 

The Association of Internet Professionals -

Representing more than 9,500 individual Internet Professionals and over 150 leading Internet industry companies and educational institutions, (AIP) is the premier professional association of the Internet industry.

The AIP exists to unify, support and represent the global community of Internet professionals. The organization also serves as a forum for the ideas, people and issues shaping the future of the Internet industry.


 

Web Design & Developers Association -

WDDA is one of the largest, oldest and fastest growing Internet trade associations today. They provide members Web site strategies, marketing and legal issues, Net news, and strict code of ethics.


 

DevWebPro -

DebWebPro is an online news community dedicated in providing the most innovative and dynamic information available for web professionals.


 

IGGW -

IGGW is a non-profit entity that address the issues and concerns of the GLBT Community. They provide extensive resources, information, education, networking, and Youth Outreach programs.


 

The Internet Industry Association -

The Internet Industry Association is Australia's national Internet industry organisation. Members include telecommunications carriers; content creators and publishers; web developers; e-commerce traders and solutions providers; hardware vendors; systems integrators; banks, insurance underwriters; Internet law firms, ISPs; educational and training institutions; Internet research analysts; and a range of other businesses providing professional and technical support services. On behalf of its members, the IIA provides policy input to government and advocacy on a range of business and regulatory issues, to promote laws and initiatives which enhance access, equity, reliability and growth of the medium within Australia.

The Graphic Artists Guild is a national union of illustrators, designers, web creators, production artists, surface designers and other creatives who have come together to pursue common goals, share their experience, raise industry standards, and improve the ability of visual creators to achieve satisfying and rewarding careers.


 

Web Designers and Developers Group -

The Web Designers and Developers Group was formed August, 1999 in response to a perceived need in Boulder County and the Front Range for a like-minded users group. The group's purpose is to focus Internet job contacts and provide continuing education on new applications or techniques used by Web designers and developers.


 

Electronic Frontier Foundation -

Based in San Francisco, EFF is a donor-supported membership organization working to protect our fundamental rights regardless of technology; to educate the press, policymakers and the general public about civil liberties issues related to technology; and to act as a defender of those liberties. Among our various activities, EFF opposes misguided legislation, initiates and defends court cases preserving individuals' rights, launches global public campaigns, introduces leading edge proposals and papers, hosts frequent educational events, engages the press regularly, and publishes a comprehensive archive of digital civil liberties information at one of the most linked-to websites in the world:
